From manuscript to chapters in one upload
Upload the PDF or EPUB, up to 100 MB. The Studio finds the chapter breaks, keeps the chapter titles, and splits each chapter into paragraphs you can see and edit. Headings and short lines of dialogue are merged into readable blocks; very long paragraphs are split at sentence boundaries so nothing is cut mid-thought. Fix a typo or a mispronounced name in one paragraph and regenerate that paragraph alone; the rest of the chapter stays as it was.

Casting: one narrator, or a voice per character
Set a default narrator for the whole book, then override any paragraph: a different voice for a character's dialogue, a second narrator for letters or flashbacks. The voices are the Studio's standard narrators, Bella, Adam, Emma, George and 29 more across American and British English, French, Hindi and Italian. Cloned voices and the emotional directions live in the main studio for shorter pieces; the audiobook tool is built for consistency over hours of audio.

Generate chapter by chapter, listen to any paragraph before you commit, and download what you need: a single chapter, the whole book, or a ZIP with one MP3 per chapter, which is the form most audiobook stores and aggregators ask for. Store rules on AI narration differ and change. Audible's rules for AI-narrated titles are stricter than most; other platforms accept AI narration with disclosure. Check the current policy of the store you publish to before you upload.

What a book costs in minutes
Narration is billed in minutes of finished audio from your plan's monthly allowance. A 40,000-word novella is about four hours of audio, 240 minutes; a 90,000-word novel is about nine hours. Plans start at $49 one-time and carry 100, 300, 500 or more minutes a month, so a full novel is a two-month project on a mid tier or one month on a larger one. Nothing is charged per download: generate once, download as often as you like.
